More than half and up to 70% of the potable water used
by the average consumer is used in their outdoor irrigation system if
they have one on their property. The proper design, installation, and
maintenance of these systems is critical to consume the appropriate
amount of water creating a beautiful landscape, but to also effect the
efficient use of available water.
“Water Management Through
Efficient Irrigation” is the key to keeping all stakeholders happy. The
current landowner enjoys a healthy and beautifully landscaped
environment on their property, local governments responsible for proper
use of available water, have enough water for every local need, thus
avoiding the need for additional regulation, and long term, we pass
along to future generations a Plentiful Supply of Potable Water.
an efficient sprinkler system is something we usually do not think
about, but is a very simple activity that has a very long term effect.
a global basis Michael is as active member of the national Irrigation
Association, and is working to help high school students understand the
rewarding careers that can be achieved with and without a 4 year college
education in the irrigation industry.
Water is essential to
all forms of life, both now and in the future. It is all of our
responsibility to make sure we do what we need to enjoy now, and leave a
legacy that future generations can enjoy as much as we have the
privilege to do so today.
